Fall Edition of Online Advance Includes Seminar and Workshop CE Credits Information

The fall edition of Advance, the popular, award-winning online magazine published by the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER), is now posted at www.fcer.org and features information on how clinicians may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by taking one or more of FCER’s convenient, affordable online seminars. Clinicians may take the seminars at one time, or “on demand” in several parts over a period of time, whenever convenient. In addition, the magazine highlights a new workshop that FCER is co-sponsoring with the Washington State Chiropractic Association, part of FCER’s “Translating Research into Practice” series, that can earn attendees up to 7.5 CEUs. Attendees will learn details on how to communicate with the insurance industry to support the need for care, among the topics to be covered.

Other features in the new Advance include:

  • The announcement about the recipients of the 2007-08 FCER Research Fellowships and what topics are being studied

  • The results of the recent FCER Board of Trustees election and profiles of the new members

  • Information on how to order the free new leaflets to use in alerting your patients and others about Amazon’s contributions to FCER and chiropractic research

  • A story about FCER’s new director of information technology and what his most pressing responsibilities are at the moment

  • A feature on the new SiteBrandBuilder® web-based product for web site development now offered by FCER that can help you better communicate with your patients

  • An order form for FCER’s Semi-Annual Pamphlet sale (sale expires December 31, 2007)

  • Listings of FCER Members, Donors, Supporters and Partners

Advance is published four times each year by FCER. It is available at no charge on FCER’s web site, and may be read online or printed from your computer.

FCER is the chiropractic profession’s oldest not-for-profit foundation, serving the profession since 1944.
